Little Willows Mom's Day Out

 

The mission of the Little Willows program is to minister to mothers of toddlers and preschoolers by providing quality care for their children in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. It also enhances their spiritual, social and developmental growth.







Registration for 2012-2013 Little Willows Mom’s Day Out begins February 27, 2012, for families currently enrolled and families in the Willow Hill congregation.

Registration will open to the general public on March 5, 2012.

Registration forms will be available on the Willow Hill website, in the church office, and in the education wing.

There is a registration fee of $25 per family due at the time of registration.

All of our staff have been full-time, stay-at-home moms for at least part of their mothering career.

We believe this helps us provide the best experience we can for you and your children.

Please take a moment to get to know a little about us.



Little Willows Director: Gina Hulett…Gina initiated the team who developed our Mom’s Day Out program in 2004. She currently serves as Director of Spiritual Formation at Willow Hill UM Church and has a background in special education and education administration as well as much volunteer work with children. Gina resides in Germantown Hills with her husband, Derek, and sons, Jacob, 16, Josh, 14, and Justin, 11. She enjoys reading, watching movies with her family, and playing with Daisy dog.

 

Assistant Director/2’s Teacher: Gina Keele…Gina was part of the developing team of Little Willows, is beginning her eighth year on staff, and also serves in the position of assistant director. She has a background in surgical nursing and has volunteered with children in various settings. Gina resides in Germantown Hills with her husband, Scott, and three children, Michael, 15, Brian, 12, and Lisa, 9. She enjoys reading, music, and family time.

 

2’s Teacher: Megan Donnelli…Megan is beginning her second year with Little Willows. She has several years experience working with children in the Church and school. Megan resides in Germantown Hills with her husband, Aaron, and their two girls, Anna, 7, and Katie, 5. She has become very familiar with the Little Willows Program while her girls have attended the last five years. She enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her family.

 

Transitional 3’s Teacher: Heidi LandesHeidi is starting her first year of teaching with Little Willows this year. She has a background in advertising and has taught Sunday school at Peoria First Christian for many years. She has also worked as a substitute teacher for Little Willows. Her youngest son attended Little Willows for three years. Heidi resides in East Peoria with her husband, James, and their two children, Tyler, 10, and Evan, 5. She enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with family.

 

Transitional 3’s Teacher: Stacy Tellor… Stacy is beginning her second year with Little Willows. She has a background in finance and has taught Sunday school for many years. She is the Girl Scout Leader for second grade in Germantown Hills and enjoys working with all of the kids. Stacy resides in Germantown Hills with her husband, Chris, and their two children, Hannah, 7, and Ryan, 4. She enjoys traveling, reading, shopping, and spending time with family.


3’s Teacher: Mandy McMahon… Mandy is beginning her second year with Little Willows. She has a background in law enforcement, as a teacher’s aide, and as a childcare provider for several children while being a stay-at-home mom. She teaches Sunday school at Willow Hill. She resides in East Peoria with her husband, Jeff, and daughters, Hailey, 7, and Gracie, 6. She also has a stepdaughter, Gabbi, 14. Mandy enjoys hanging out with family and friends, cooking, and listening to music. 

 

3’s Teacher: Becky Smolarchuk Becky is starting her first full year of teaching with Little Willows. She joined the teaching team in the 3’s in February of 2011 after working as a substitute in the program. She has over 10 years experience as a stay-at-home mom and is an active volunteer with JFL and PTO. She resides in Germantown Hills with her husband, Jason, and three children, Luke, 10, Hailey, 8, and Blake, 4. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family and watching football, hockey, and baseball.

 

4’s Teacher: Laura Foster… Laura is starting her first year of teaching with Little Willows. She has a background in business and has been a substitute within the Germantown Hills School District for the last year. She is starting her third year as a Kindergarten classroom volunteer and enjoys working with kids of all ages. Laura resides in Germantown Hills with her husband, Greg, and their two children, Jaycob, 10, and Andrew, 8. She enjoys traveling, watching her boys play sports, and spending time with family.

 

4’s Teacher: Cheryl Wilmot… Cheryl is starting her second year of teaching with Little Willows. Cheryl has a background in art education, K-12, has taught Sunday school for many years, and organized a Mommy & Me playgroup at her church years ago. She is also a photographer in her spare time. Cheryl lives in Germantown Hills with her husband, Chip, and their three children, Bailey, 17, Regan, 14, and Ty, 11. She spends lots of time at swim meets, track meets, and JFL football games.
